Born on January 9th, 1986, Lakpa's connection to the mountains runs deep. His journey in the tourism industry began in 2003, starting humbly as a porter. Through sheer determination and a thirst for knowledge, he steadily climbed the ranks, transitioning from Assistant Guide to a seasoned Main Guide.
Lakpa's dedication to his craft is evident in his extensive training. He honed his skills and emerged as a highly respected guide, conquering numerous mountains below 7,000 meters. His impressive list of summits includes Mera Peak, Labuche Peak, and Dhampus Peak, among many others. Lakpa's experience extends beyond specific peaks – he's a seasoned explorer, having traversed iconic routes like the Everest Base Camp trek, the Upper Dolpa trek, and the Annapurna Circuit trek, to name a few. His expertise even extends to Tibet, where he's led expeditions over thirty times.
